Common questions
What It Costs to Get It Flowing
Money questions first, because everyone has them.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. A plumber looks at the job and writes down a price before anything starts. That visit doesn't cost you a thing either way.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No call-out fee, ever. You're only paying for the work once you've agreed to the number on the page in front of you.
What does "$50 off when you book online" cover?
Fifty dollars comes off the job total when you book through the site rather than ringing in. It can be combined with the seniors discount.
How do quotes work?
One of our plumbers has a look, talks you through what's actually wrong, and writes the number down before touching anything.
Common questions
The Legal Stuff, Made Simple
Licensing, responsibility and what's actually safe to try yourself.
What is an overflow relief gully and why does it matter?
Look for a low grated pit near an outside tap. It's built to let sewage escape onto the ground instead of flooding back through your fixtures, so if it's bubbling, something further along the line has stopped up.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
Reaching for a plunger on a stubborn sink or toilet is fine. Beyond that, chemical cleaners tend to cause more damage than they fix, and NSW law requires a licensed plumber for any real drainage work.
What warranty do I get?
Lifetime cover on our labour. If something we've done isn't right, we come back and fix it at no cost to you.
Do wipes really block drains?
They do, flushable label or not. Wipes hold their shape long after toilet paper has broken down, and they snag on root intrusion and old joints.
Common questions
Booking, Timing and the 30-Minute Guarantee
How fast we move, and what happens once you call.
How fast can you get here?
Thirty minutes from your call to a plumber on the doorstep, guaranteed. Same promise on a Tuesday lunchtime as a Sunday at midnight.
Are you really open 24/7?
Every day of the year. Whoever picks up the phone is a licensed plumber, not a recording, whatever the hour.
What counts as a drain emergency?
Sewage coming back inside, an overflow relief gully bubbling over, or a toilet that keeps rising are all emergencies. A sink that's merely slow to drain can usually wait for a scheduled visit.
How do I book online?
Fill in the form on this site and a plumber calls to lock in a time. Booking this way also earns the fifty-dollar discount.
Common questions
The Turramurra Questions
Local knowledge, not just a service area on a map.
Do you know Turramurra's pipe stock?
We do. Plenty of the older homes here still run their original earthenware sewer lines, and those pipes crack with age and let roots straight through. The bushland edges make it worse: blocks backing onto reserves like Sheldon Forest on the southern side of the suburb sit closest to the heavy root pressure.
How local are you, really?
Turramurra is part of our regular run, not a suburb we only reach on a good day. We're through here most weeks, blockage or not.
Why do Turramurra's older drains keep blocking?
Tree roots, mostly. The dense canopy along streets like Boomerang and Eastern Road grows straight over ageing clay pipe, and roots exploit every hairline crack.
What suburbs do you service?
Turramurra plus Pymble, Wahroonga, St Ives, Gordon and Killara. Just outside that list? Call anyway, our patch is usually wider than the map shows. Pymble · Wahroonga · St Ives · Gordon · Killara
